A Greater Gift

IMG_0766

There is a greater gift than the trust of others, and that is the trust in oneself. Some might call it confidence, others name it faith. But if it makes us brave, the label doesn’t matter for it’s the thing that frees us to embrace life itself.-Call of The Midwife

  1. Trust in yourself will come when you try to stop making a go of things by yourself and really trust in Him. There is a few very important lines in the Lord’s prayer which he taught us all to say. We do not have to add alot of other things to it but only pay attention and believe your prayer will be answered. ‘Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespassed against us. We all have been hurt by earthly beings and we have hurt many ourselves in so many different ways. Coming to God we ask him to forgive our trespasses against others, but we also say to forgive those who trespass against us. By doing this we actually clear the slate, imagine God sitting in a chair in front of you and you begin thinking of all you done to someone else in this world, it will surely open your eyes especially with him in front of you telling him I forgive them Lord, so you too please forgive them. And God seeing your genuine heart and spiritual growth, seeing you are real with the intent of what you spoke in front of him…will answer your prayer when you ask him to forgive you…then believe it. God died once for all on the cross that we might be free Mari. Spiritual things bring life, joy, happiness, charity, continuing faith. Why did i share that just sit in the chair alone in a room and know he is there with you…and you will be greatly enlightened for when he forgives all your sins you will really learn to yourself! Have a beautiful holiday. The things we do, we dislike while we are in the flesh but the spirit is strong and will always move you rightly upon the chosen path!

    1. I do believe so, Wendell!! You are right! I have found all of that to be true that is why this quote resonated with me so much that I wanted to share it here.
